My style is portraits, I love portraits. I like also editorial and lifestyle. No, my style hasn't changed though the years. I just began to find out what I want from my photos and reflect more of me and more of my experiences into my work.
How do you approach a shoot? Do you pre-plan or is it a click and run?
I do a lot of preparation for sure. I want to have the full control over a photoshoot and planning about everything (location, makeup, clothes etc.)
Is there an end goal you’re trying to achieve with your images, be it an aesthetic or story?
I try both. I like a strong look from the model and the perfect composition that could tell a story and make people engaged with my photos and recognise my style.

There are too many. Fashion magazines, movies, photographers, cinematographers. I would like to name only from Greece some photographers that influences me. @thanassiskrikis @maralazaridou @kosmaskoumianos
What inspires you?
I like to take inspiration from everything around me, every picture that I see has something to offer. Even a bad picture. I like on reading and explain the photos that I like. Peter Lindbergh's work is truly inspirational and a lot of other photographers work. Also reading magazines and watching movies has a lot to offer.
Is there such a thing as a bad photograph?
Yes. Even if photography is subjective it always has to do with aesthetics, experience and knowledge.
Are you looking for a career in photography or are you just having fun?
I am planning on opening my own studio. Try to work on with magazines, and some brands. Also I want to travel more.
Which social media platforms do you use and why?
Instagram because it gives me the ability to share my work all around the world and engage with new people.
Which photographers do you mainly follow on social media?
@deanbradshaw, @alessioalbi, @martabevacwua, @tommitchellphoto, elizavetaporodina, @niravphotography, @juliantorresofficial and many others.
What are your thoughts on mobile photography versus DSLR / mirrorless?
The lenses make the photo look different regardless of the quality and the pixels. So depending on the eye, the aesthetic and the needs of everyone, can choose whatever he like. But I still prefer DSLR and prime lenses.
What’s your main go to camera, lenses and how did you make that choice? I own two cameras, a Canon 6D and Canon 6D mark II with a Sigma 50mm 1.4 art, a Sigma 85mm 1.4 art, a Canon 24-70mm 2.8 and a Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens. I choose them because I am building my equipment piece by piece and with the money I can spend depending the time period. Τhe quality of theSigma artlenses also helps in the quality of the photographic result, which is something that interests. I want to get the best possible result on my pictures.
What is your dream location to shoot at?
New York I guess…
Describe your favourite picture and how you captured it?
My favourite photo is with a couple of grandparents where they wanted to take a portrait but I told the grandmother secretly before I took the photo that I would make her a signal and she had to kiss her husband and when she did it the result was emotional and romantic.
In three words how would you describe your photography?
Intense, natural, emotional.
How do you feel about better quality cameras being put into smart phones?
This is the evolution in the technology of photography and everyone makes its choices depending on the money it has and its needs.
What are your thoughts on expensive cameras? Do you think they create better images?
They create better quality. They have so much depth and dynamic range. But the pictures are made with our imagination and our eyes.
