I definitely changed my style. That’s important for a learning process. Less equipment is my secret recipe. My camera and a reflector are quite enough for me. I work to 99% just with existing light. So I enjoy a high degree of freedom and flexibility.
How do you approach a shoot? Do you pre-plan or is it a click and run?
I don’t plan ahead much. I need to have a main idea but everything else just happens spontaneous and together with my model. Creativity is something that needs to grow. Anybody can bring forward own ideas and we make an arrangement together to produce nice pictures and an unforgettable day.
Is there an end goal you’re trying to achieve with your images, be it an aesthetic or story?
The important thing for me is to make my model happy and produce pictures how people can see it in my portfolio. I always try to maintain authenticity and not to lose the fun. I just want to stay true to myself.

I use a Canon 6D Mark II with 35 mm and 50 mm of the Sigma Art Series. The reason why I made my decision for Canon is very easy. Operability and Manageability are the main criterion for me, which convinced. Anyway, each Camera is good in its own way.
